Nicholas Martin, Chairman of ACHES (Adult Child Health and Environmental Support) gives a fascinating 2-minute summary of what asbestos, cancer, and electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation have in common. Nicholas started by explaining many homes years ago were built using asbestos, which—at that time—the government told us was perfectly safe. Now, of course asbestos is banned, because the truth was exposed. But what does the government say about EMF radiation? To clarify, this is the type of radiation related to Wi-Fi, cell towers, mobile phones, bluetooth and similar technologies. The official government narrative is that EMFs are perfectly safe—just as they assured us over 70 years ago about asbestos.
But, as the Buddha said there are three things you cannot hide in life: the sun, the moon, and the truth. The government could not hide the truth about asbestos—and soon they won’t be able to hide the truth about EMF radiation effects. A study published by a cancer institute in Italy, the Ramazzini Institute, exposes the harms of EMFs. Researchers put rats in an EMF field (similar to a Wi-Fi field), using a field strength of 50 Volts per metre—less than the government’s current EMF guidance limit. What happened? The rats developed cancer.
Now, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revised its Digital Health Policy by relaxing restrictions about the catastrophic consequences of wearables, bluetooth, and AI-related technology. Similar to the truth about asbestos, the truth is coming out about the harms of EMF radiation. You cannot hide the sun, the moon, or the truth. Eventually the government in the UK will have to tell the truth. For the sake of our health, wellbeing, and a functioning society, it is essential that we live in a safe environment.
